Simpson Park

Simpson Park - San Jacinto Valley

Simpson Park was named for former Hemet Mayor James Simpson.  This 483-acre wilderness park is located in the Santa Rosa Hills south of the city.  This park features picnic facilities, hiking and biking trails, restrooms, and a spectacular view of the entire San Jacinto Valley including the citrus groves of Valle Vista, Mt. San Jacinto, Diamond Valley Lake, and Mystic Lake.  Over a dozen trails make this park very popular with hikers and mountain bikers. The park closes during the driest months because of fire danger.
